Business Expos and Chamber memberships…

…………….like the song by The Clash says,  “Should I stay or should I go?”,  we are always faced with this decision when it comes to Chamber functions and business Expos.  On one hand they are FUN and are a FANTASTIC way to meet people and network.  On the other hand, if I take a day away from my desk to participate in an EXPO — – – will it be worth the overload of paper I will face when I return to work?  My answer to this is simple, “YES – YES – YES”  I LOVE it that Springfield Roofing is a member of many local chambers, including Traverse City, Gaylord, Grayling, Cadillac, Petoskey, Charlevoix, Manistee, and Kalkaska.   Every time I attend an expo or chamber function, I am reminded of the vigorous business climate and impressive people in our area of Michigan.  I leave those events energized, engaged, and with a stack of impressive business cards of people who I will call upon when I need their services.    I love it!     Terri Jo Umlor, Springfield Commercial Roofing.
